William Bettendorf has served with Cotton Council International (CCI) since 1989 working in a variety of positions starting first as an account executive in greater Europe, and later as a regional director for CCI in Northeast Asia.

After returning to Europe for a few years, he returned to the US where he serves as CCI’s director for Supply Chain Marketing, and Director for South & Southeast Asia two dominant regions serving global textile industry.

CCI is the export promotions arm of the Memphis-based National Cotton Council of America. Headquartered in Washington, DC, and with a reach extending to more than 50 countries through 17 offices worldwide, CCI uses trade services and consumer promotion activities to increase exports of U.S. cotton fiber, manufactured cotton goods, cottonseed and their products in Asia, Europe, Africa, and Central and South America.
